After the “draw” there is another betting interval and then the showdown.
Draw poker, however, became less popular as stud poker took over. Stud poker can be of two kinds: the five card stud and the seven card stud. The five card stud however is not really played anymore since the 1950s, but seven card stud is still very popular in many poker clubs and tournaments.
Community card poker is a very popular type and many of its variants are played very much in the present day.
